レゴでエコ！：ECO LEGO!

レゴ社はエコで走り、風力発電運送(Wind Turbine Transport #7747)をリリースしました（TBBのポストにより）。カナダやオーストラリアの店で見た人はいますが、米国や日本でのリリースは未定。

昨年レゴはヴェスタース社のためモーター付きの限定ヴェスタース風力発電(Vestas Windmill #4999)を出しました。ヴェスタースの社員しか手に入れる事が出来たけれど、自分でパーツを集めて作りたい人の為に説明書はレゴから出ています（本１＆本２）。

こう言うエコモデルがもっと出るといいですね、レゴのソーラーパネルの家でもいいね！

LEGO is going ECO with the release of the Wind Turbine Transport #7747!  (Post on TBB).  People have reported seeing it in Canada and Australia, but it hasn't been release in the US and Japan yet. 

Last year LEGO released a limited motorized windmill, the Vestas Windmill #4999 for the employees of Vestas.  Although only Vestas employees could purchase this, there are building instructions available (Book1 & Book2) for those people that would like to gather the various parts together themselves and build it. 

It would be great to see LEGO continue on with this and release other alternative energy models, like a house with LEGO Solar Panels!

レゴ美建築 ブリックストラクチャーズ＋フランク・ロイド・ライト！：LEGO Artitecture BrickStructures + Frank Lloyd Wright!

以前はレゴ社のためにミニビルを作っているブリックストラクチャーズのアダム・リード・タッカー氏についてポストしましたが、最近レゴ社の発表によると彼は何とレゴ社とフランク・ロイド・ライトのビルを出す専用実施権を頂く事になりました。最初に発表したビルはグッゲンハイム美術館（ただいまBrickStructures.comで販売中）と「落水荘」（８月販売予定）を出す事になりました。

再び凄く奇麗なビルを美術的にミニで表現できたアダム・リード・タッカー氏に賛辞を送りたいと思います。おめでとう！これからも素晴らしいビル作品を楽しみですね！

We previously posted about the fabulous mini structures that Adam Tucker Reed is creating over at Brickstructures for the LEGO group.  Recently it was announced that along with the LEGO Group, he has become the exclusive licensed manufactuor of Architecture sets featureing the buildings of the Frank Lloyd Wright Collection.  The first two buildings will be the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum (Available now at BrickStructures.com) and "Falling Water" (Available in August).

Congratulations Adam on creating yet more beautifully artistic miniture models of wonderful buidings.  We look forward to many more!

新しいレゴ作品がブリック禅ギャラリーに！：New LEGO Models in the BrickZen Gallery!

On the right sidebar a bit far down the page is the BrickZen Original Gallery.  Recently TAXON5 has been quite taken with "Bikes" and has uploaded pictures of the many bikes he has created. 

Also based on the Town Plan #10184, he has created a brand new Movie Theater complete with a very detailed interior.

もうご存知の方もいるかもしれませんが、レゴはこの夏から秋にかけて、Emerald Night #10194（現在販売中）やGrand Carousel #10196（７月予定）みたいな素晴らしい新商品をいっぱい出しています。

そして今週、町を作っている方に凄く嬉しいニュースで、新しいビルが出ます、Fire Brigade #10197（９月予定）！1930年代な奇麗な外装に何と！内装もたっぷり細かい所まで出来ている。The Brothers Brickに細かい記事と外と中の写真がいっぱい載っています。

昔懐かしい消防署を作りましょう！

カンカンカン！火事です！凄く細かい部分まで実現している1930年代の消防署から皆が現場に迎えます。Cafe Corner #10182やGreen Grocer #10185と並べる様にデザインされた消防署は凄く珍しいレゴのパーツや高度ビルド術が含まれている。30年代の消防車、4つのミニフィグ、ファイヤードック、開閉式ガレージドアと屋根を取って中までアクセス出来ます。各階家具付きで、消防ツール、ヘルメットのラック、ファイヤポール、卓球台、中身満載の冷蔵庫付きキッチン、ソファー、本棚そして屋根上は水タンクとベルまであります。高さは14インチ（35 cm）、幅10インチ（25 cm）となっています。

早く秋が来て、新しい消防署が欲しいですね！

LEGO has many wonderful new sets coming out over the next few months like the Emerald Night #10194 (available now) and the Grand Carousel #10196 (available in July).  Just this week LEGO announced a new building that will fit nicely with any LEGO town one might be building, the Fire Brigade #10197 (available in September)!  It not only has a beautiful 1930's style exterior, but comes with a very detailed interior as well!  The Brothers Brick has a great detailed article about it with many pictures of the exterior and interior.

レゴ美建築 ブリックストラクチャーズ：LEGO Artitecture BrickStructures

先日ブリックストラクチャーズのアダム・リード・タッカー氏から箱が届きました。中身はレゴ社製アダム・リード・タッカー氏デザインのSears Tower：シカゴのシアーズタワー #21000、John Hancock Center：シカゴのジョンハンコックセンター #21001、Empire State Building：ニューヨークのエンパイア・ステート・ビルディング #21002、Seattle Space Needle：シアトルのスペース・ニードル #21003の４つのレゴで出来ているミニビルが入ってました！

レゴ社が全面協力で出している商品で箱のセンスも凄くいい感じで、中の説明書は組み立て図以外、そのビルの設定、建築、や技術の説明、ビルの詳細の情報や特典情報が書いてあります。全ては永久保存したくなる。

アダム氏が「ART」（美術）と「建築」(Architecture）を合体して「Artitecture」（美建築？）とよんでいます。本当に美術的な作品ばっかりです！各ビルの特徴をレゴで凄く旨くミニサイズで表現している。まさにブリックでの禅！組み立てれる時に「なるほど！」と言うビルド術も色々習った。

レゴの建築は以前ブリックジャーナル（Issue 3, Volume 2 秋 2008年 ページ45)に記事されたけど、このモデルを実際にビルドして、自分の手に持つ事は本当に最高の気持ち！

シアーズタワーとジョンハンコックセンターは残念ながら既に完売されたみたいけど、エンパイア・ステート・ビルディングとスペース・ニードルはまだサイトから購入する事が出来ます。美術や建築の友達へプレゼントするもいいし、自分の机の上や本棚の飾りとしても凄く格好いい作品と思います！

Received a box from Adam Reed Tucker at BrickStructures the other day.  Inside were four types of mini building sets designed by Adam and released from LEGO; the Sears Tower #21000, John Hancock Center #21001, Empire State Building #21002 and the Seattle Space Needle #21003!

The LEGO Group is working directly with Adam on these models.  The packaging is beautifully done and the booklet included contains not only the building plans for the model, but interesting facts about the Architecture, Engineering and Construction of each particular building.  There is also a list of facts and points of interest about each building.  You will want to carefully save these to show and share with others.

Adam has a concept of joining his two passions of Art and Architecture which he has termed Artitecture.  These models really are all works of Art!  Each building has its essence captured perfectly in a mini size and built with LEGO.  They really capture the sprit of Zen! Building them, one will also learn a few interesting LEGO building techniques!

LEGO Architecture has been featured in BrickJournal (Issue 3, Volume 2 Fall 2008 p. 45) and actually getting to build and hold the models was quite a pleasure!

Unfortunately the Sears Tower and John Hancock Center are already sold out, but the Empire State Building and Seattle Space Needle are still available on the BrickStructures site.  They make great presents for any architecture or art friends, and the models also look wonderful on one's desk or bookshelf!

レゴの30日間：30 Days of LEGO

年に１〜２回、「３０日プロジェクト」と言う面白い企画がある。１ヶ月間、毎日「何か」を作ってサイトにアップする企画です。参加する人にはデザイナ、作家、音楽家、絵書き、油絵書き、写真家、ショット映画作り等等色々なクリエティブの人がいる。昨年の１１月参加する事にした。

作品は作りたいけど、仕事や家庭の事で忙しく中々出来ないための発想から生まれた。やっぱり期待される人や「作って上げないと」のプレッシャはいいお尻叩きになる。

テーマはレゴと一眼レフにした。毎日１つのレゴの作品かレゴシーンを作って、そしてそれを１０〜２０枚の写真を色々撮った。一眼レフを買って何年もあんまり使わず何年も立っちゃった。これでカメラの色々の機能や絵の取り方の勉強と同時に毎日レゴを触る事が出来て本当に楽しかった！

作った３０個の作品はここで見る事が出来る。今年も「３０日プロジェット」があるときっとまた参加します！皆様も一緒にやってみない？

Once or twice a year there is a very interesting event, the "30 Days Project."  For one month, one must post "something" to a site each and every day.  Designers, writers, musicians, artists, oil painters, photographers, short movie makers and many, various creative people participate.  Last year I decided to participate in the November 30 Day Project.

The idea for this project came from the thought that although one might want to create something, often work, family or life itself gets in the way.  Having pressure knowing that many people are waiting to see your day's work and knowing that you "have to put something up" is a great way to push one to create.

For my theme I chose LEGO and my digital SRL.  Each day I created a LEGO model or scene and then took 10 to 20 pictures of it.  After buying a digital SRL I have let many years go past without really learning how to use it.  Through the project I learned a great amount about the many features of the camera and studied a bit of photography.  I also got to build with LEGO everyday, quite a pleasure!

My 30 models can be seen here.  I hope to participate whenever the "30 Day Project" is this year!  How about joining too?
